So hard to get back into dev mode with SWToR being so much fun. Diablo coming out soon too. Server is up if you want to play. Not much progress being made , but the game is up. Let me know via the forums or by email of any really nasty bugs and I will get them fixed. Company has repaired the fiber modem, but the current way I have the network patched together does not allow for ports to be forwarded. Going to be a few days before I can get a new router delivered and set up. Lets see if we can make some progress. WOW patch 4.2 came out yesterday and sucking up all my time this week. But I have .spec working and am researching adding trainers. Very stable code though. No bugs that I can see. Nice features. I’ll be honest. There is a ton of stuff that is broke, It is playable but the bugs are so numerous that I have stopped listing them. I have decided it would be faster to do a rewrite. I have a new server up without the ackadia features. As soon as I get our skill system in place, I will allow log ins. First thing is going to be to reduce the spawn rate some what. The shard is completely infested. I hope to get my 2 GMs comfortable with the commends soon, and have them starting filling some missing items. Welcome back Ackadia. It’s been a long time. thanks Nemi Rios for keeping it going where others failed. The server is set up and accepting connections form the outside. I’m using the code base that Ronson sent me, and it is horrible buggy. So all that’s missing is the version that Nemi Rios had running. Hopefully we can hook up this weekend and get it moved. I just worked it things out with Nemi Rios to take over the hosting of his server. He will stay on as lead developer while I get back into the swing of things. Hopefully I can bring some stability and monitoring of the server. I do not plan to let Ackadia go ever again. Long after the last person stops playing, it will be there for when you just want to remember. Hades you still out there? |
